everytime i sign into msn it gives me a poup say: a new version of msn messenger is available, click here to download it. (they are not the EXACT words). can anyone help me fix this?

Upgrade to the latest maybe?

What version are you using?

7.5.0306 but ive updated it 3 times in the last 5 days (1 and a half days of that i was on camp)

Current version is 7.5.0311

Do u have Sygate Firewall, i know it tell u if an app changed and if u wanna allow the change or not.

And they're at 7.5.0311, fyi

i dont have Sygate but i don have Startup inspector which monitor changes in stuff like internet or download  etc. i will try to d/l the new version and get back to you later

i just downloaded it from the msn site and its still version 7.5.0306 and again the same popup came up

So how bout when that popup comes up again, y not click on that one - i think that uploads the new version automatically, without sending u to the site

i did it about 15 minutes ago, then when i had to  log out then back in it came up with the same popup

As Matty said, the current version is 7.5.0311

Clear your cache before downloading again
