well, if we go out in the first round who cares, we made it. we'll just go back to all the other sports were really good if not the best at like cricket, (that gaelic footy), Rugby etc.

Also Tennis, Netball, Volleyball, Swimming, Surfing, Bodyboarding, Hockey, Golf, Boxing, ...
The list could go on and on on sports are or were recently no.1 in the world at. for a country with a pop of only 20mil i think you could say thats a fair effort compared to most countries.

As for those 2 saves by the goalkeeper last night in the penalty shootout they were amazing!! |

and for boxing I was referring to this.

Also with golf Karrie Webb being inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame
Anyway, back to soccer. Great work to them. I heard the atmosphere out there was awesome. did anyone make it to the game? a few of my friends did but i was working..
