O.P. Huh?  MSN Messenger 7.5.0311 Poly?? NE1?
Has anyone found a polygammy patch for MSN Messenger 7.5.0311 yet?  I've always liked MSN Ghost by Volv, but they haven't released one yet.  Everyone seems to be dragging their feet.
???

Download Mess Patch from Mess.be or A-Patch from A-Patch, or to make it legal - StuffPlug - NG but StuffPlug requires Messenger Plus!

There are many things that enable polygramy if you want something just for polygramy then i suggest multi msn by the boss:

I thought StuffPlug uses alot of advanced coding, instead of patching?

Thanks Patches... I checked the one on Mess.be, but it didn't say it would work for this build... but the one from Apatch did!

Errrmmm... hehehe... almost :p

"If a normal legal program is white and hard patches (illegal) are black, than soft patching (patching in memory) is grey..."

both... It also 'simply' patches a lot of stuff. In fact many things of what people call "advanced coding" is nothing more than soft patching.

-and with that I don't mean that stuffplug is nothing advanced at all
-also the trick is to know what and how to patch of course

Please correct me if im wrong, im not a programmer but i swear i heard that somewhere....
Some stuff of what StuffPlug does involves patching the program file in memory (as apposed to patching the program file itself on disc)

No it is not!!! Patching in ANY way is still technically as illegal as robbing a bank. Patching in memory is only "a bit less illegal" than patching a program file on disc. StuffPlug is certainly not "totally legal".

I thought it was loaders that were "grey" & that "soft" patching & "hard" patching were each as bad as each other.

hmm, true... the comparisson with robbing a bank was exaggerated (and technically -in context of law- not correct). But I needed something strong to get the point across :p

When most people speak in these contexts of altering MSN Messenger (in any way) and the word "illegal" is used, I almost am certain they all mean 'illegal' as in breaking the contract which you accepted when you use the program.

In terms of law and all, this word "illegal" is indeed not the same and it is debatable in court, as "illegal" is a word used in reference to law, and it is not a law you're braking but a contract between you and the program maker.

But this said (and thus, I fully agree with you on this matter), I bet that now people are going to say and understand all this as patching is very legal to do (people simply think that way and/or take it that way), ... hence my use of a strong comparisson and not so technically correct (in every detail) description. (the end/result justifies the means).

A loader almost always loads a program and then patches some stuff in memory (so the program runs, so the game score is froozen, so you can cheat, etc... ) aka the exact definition of a "soft" patch.
