O.P. Firefox download window is slow
Whenever i download something, the firefox download window takes at least 2 minutes before it shows up. its been set to show when i start a download but it takes really long and crashes my firefox until it appears. whats going on?!

[Edit] i noticed it only takes a long time when a download is started. if i choose to open it via the menu, it will load straight away

It's a extension for FF. Honestly it intergrates really well.

Does it happen with downloads from all sites. I think it might be that Firefox locks up while it is initialising the transfer, (from a slow site).

Download Statusbar

1) Install
2) disable "show download manager when a download begins"

I love it :D

tbh he is right :)
Its really nice :)

I am using download statusbar and it shows my downloads on the statusbar instead of a new window. I like it tbh :)
