The no download limit is okay, but with all the connection problems and such my friends get, I personally don't see the point of NTL. Changing to a different company charging fee, WTF?
Your disconnecting from them and the new company should take care of that, Don't see why NTL should get paid for it.

Tried what you said Ghost_Stalker, but didn't do anything unfortunately. :(

Nevermind hypedupmonkey, thought you had to pay a connection fee, you know for them to install it etc. Plus don't have a BT line :P

Found out that I accually got disconnected by NTL (without them telling me!) for a "bill we had not payed". Cheque got lost in post :S

Hey no problem. It happens... If you had called NTL asking for support, then they should have told you

Yeah. First I phoned Broadband Technical Support, told them I had tried everything to get it working, then after all that, he said "oh, your account has been suspended" and put me through to Customer Services, then they told me why it was suspended.

Ended up getting my grandad to phone up and have a moan for them to connect it again.

Ah well, all is fine now :)
