Hello Everyone, I recently bought a phone with bluetooth on 3 mobile, i have a LG U8380 can someone please tell me what bluetooth is sorry for askin but i have absolutely no idea

for example, your mobiles manager can now connect your mobiles to your computer wirlessly , no need to IR, no wires....

however it's sometimes represent a threat to your mobile,  if u keep it on, as some are using it, to distribute Viruses.

Viruses are available only on Symbian OS based phones.

lol yes i know!! but count those who had viruses installed by their own!! lots yeah ? so someone may miss, and accept that file

Easiest way to stay free of Viruses on Symbian OS...
Don't leave bluetooth on all the time (It runs Battery Life down anyways) and don't accept files/invitations from unknown devices or strangers.

Sorry for being picky but it can go much higher than 10meters! the motorlora V3 RAZR has a bluetooth range of 100 metres

I'm the biggest newb ever... I've had a new phone and only today I found out what bluetooth is and how it works. lol. And it is damn good!
