RE: Help me pick a new phone
N Series was released by Nokia to kinda keep up with the MP3/mobile media market.  All of the phones in the N Series have MP3 playback with special MP3 player functions. Each can take up to at least 4Gb worth of external memory, (although the Nokia N91 comes with a 4Gb internal memory). The N92 allows you to watch TV on the phone. All of the phones in the N series are smartphones (they run on a symbian OS) so they can be customised in terms of screen display, although thats not really a huge feature of them as you can do that with all other symbian phones

Ok, in that case, consider if you have an MP3 player, would you really use the main feature of the N Series. If you dont have an MP3 player, then you can buy it and kind of kill 2 birds with one stone

I do, i have a 20gb 3rd gen ipod.
I just like the quality of the cameras on the N series, and the fact that they are new.. i dont want to buy somthing thats a year or two old because it will only be a tiny step up from what i allready have. Whatever i buy has to last me a good few years..
Could anyone give an opinion on whats better.. N80 or N73?

Nokia and Sony Ericsson are lame.  Go for an LG or Motorola!  I like the LG VX6000 or the Motorola E815 personally....the E815 is a slightly thicker version of the Razr without the bugs

I'd recomend a K750, even though you think that it's old.

LG phones are crap.

Motorollas are ok, but I don't like then very much. The GUI's aren't very efficient. The softkeys are switched around!

N91

Anyways...
I had very bad experiences using Motorola.
So, since then I always recommend anyone not to use their products.

Nokia is definitely user-friendly.
My mom, who didn't know how to call somebody using a cellphone a couple years ago, can text message anyone now :p

Sony Ericsson in the other hand is very reliable.
Strong signal receiver, strong case...
My dad owned one for about 5 years.
I have lost count how many times he dropped that cellphone on asphalt.

Im not looking at the N91 because its so focused on music, and i allready have a 3rd gen 20gb Ipod. Im looking at the more camera focused ones.
