think of this... someone could send me an email in at 2 pm in england. but thats night 2am in auckland, that doesnt mean that i shuld stay up till 2am to get it. if i was in england i could well have read it at 2pm. i can just sleep and wake up and and get it in teh morning. which jsut means that i had a wait a little longer.. i dont even know i am making sense

Theoretically, Someone can be ahead by even 24 hours. Cos the GMT is 0hrs. auckland: +12 and some places before US upto -12hrs. so that will add upto 24 hours. <see worldtimeserver.com>
