yeah, I know, that would be the ultimate goal of course. But, I'm not sure it is feasible with Live, because the controls are seperated now.

I'm trying to get my hands on some older files, so I can compare how it was done in MSN 7.5. But I think the current way, will be the closest I'll get...

I've been working on a patch framework for the greater part of this evening... But it is far from finished. The first 'change'-pieces went well, but now I'm combatting memory allocations for the 'addition'-pieces which I cannot manage at this time of the night. I'll continue on the job tomorrow.

I like the idea, maybe you can try to place the PSM's beneath the names, make the DP's 32*32 and place the status icons in the right bottom corner of the DP, just like in the good old MSN Messenger.
I guess many people will like that.
