This was the feature I wanted which led me to find the goodness that is Messenger Plus! - so as you can imagine it's sorely missed

I have a load of work contacts I want to block when not at work, so obviously I have them all grouped together and could previously zap them all in one go.

Does anyone know of an alterantive solution that will suit my needs?
Maybe I'll just make them all use a different account and run two instances of messenger...

Please always search forums before making a thread or even posting a message. Almost everything has been answered before.

About group (un)blocking, this has been posted countless times before already. A simple forum search with "group block" would have given many posts and threads. eg:
