Well, i've upgraded to Live and Messenger Plus 4.something just now and i added the SS4 plugin. It succesfully installed and i can send SS's via the /commands but there is no Screenshot Sender 4 plugin "tab" in the Plus! drop down menu in the conversation window. It does appear in the main MSN window, just not in chat windows.

Script commands don't appear in that top menu anymore, they appear in the menu on the formatting toolbar.

any idea of when the new version of the screenshot sender script will be released? I mean seeing as how the new version of plus live got delayed while WLM 8.1 gets out of beta I think a new version of this script would be good to be released in the meantime the plus is released don't you think?

It's still being worked on as both Matty and myself are very busy atm.  Also the new Select Area fucntion only works with the new Plus! version anyway.

oh, I see, thanks for the quick reply though, your script is really great, it helps a lot mostly on computers technical support, it makes it easier than first capture the screen, open a image program and paste it to save it as a image and then browse in the msn send file window to find it and send it

i dont know if someone answered this yet but too many pages to look
i noticed when i changed the save folder, it dont save on correct folder, but the previous one

C:\Documents and Settings\...\Screenshots\Mihzvol_wuriarMy_Screenshot_40

the pic name change to Mihzvol_wuriarMy_Screenshot_40, but mihzvol_wuriar is a folder

the right name would be like this

C:\Documents and Settings\...\Screenshots\Mihzvol_wuriar\My_Screenshot_40

that bar is missing on the folder name, and i cant get that to work
if anyone have a solution tell me

This has been fixed in the next version which isn't released yet.  If you want to manually fix it:

Well.  Got all the new stuff, and Lo! unfortunately, a bug showed its ugly face.

So.. We have
Windows XP Service Pack 2 (5.1.2600)
Windows Live Messenger 8.01.0106
Messenger Plus! Live 4.10.0.250


and..

It's a good old simple crash, with Windows error reporting invoked in my case.

So. that's it, just to inform all you hard-working Houstonians that we have a problem.




& I have Messpatch (for a number of changes) and A-Patch (just to remove JohnDoe says: thing.) Had them with the old versions too, everything OK then, of course.
