I've tried to install this script, but it doesn't work.. when a contact opens a conversation with me it appears no toast... :S
I used both Live Notifier 1.10 and Convo Notifier 1.02, but I have the same problem... am I the only one? 8-)

I found a problem while using the script, although this could be an isolated issue with just me, I thought it would be worthwhile for the developer of this script to know it.

It persist with the 'now playing' function of WLM and iTunes - when the script is activated as messenger starts, what plays on iTunes ceases to display on WLM.

However, the function works perfectly still with Windows Media Player.

The script has to be deactivated completely (not thru the script's own deactivating option) on Plus, and WLM restarted, for iTunes to show what's playing again.

I hope this problem can be worked out, as Live Notifier is my most used, and most useful, script.

i have had the problem with iTunes not wroking with the now playing thing, but haven't tried to isolate the source of the problem, but since i am using live notifier, it could be that.  I will check now...

edit: yes, it now works with live notifier having been deactivated, and WLM restarted

i liked the way it still popped up if you had a conversation open, it ment that you knew if someone was about to speak, can this be an option to turn on and off?

It already is. Open the settings-window and check the second checkbox. I have the dutch version, but in English it would be called something like: "Always show notification"

Since I use this script a lot, I simply edited the script a little to this:

if (g_objSettings.ActivateOnLoad == false)
        ActivateScript();

Now, LN, doesn't load on startup automatically, and you needn't manually load and unload the script completely on Plus' settings for iTunes to work - you can use the script's own 'activate' function.

I hope this problem get's resolved though
