1) disassociate quicktime as the standard player if you have set it so (you don't need to disassociate the quicktime file extension though)
2) remove the startup entries for quicktime in the registry
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

My most annoying program would actually be the Windows Update Notification thingie which pops up after you've updated asking you to restart the PC....
Highly annoying when you can't restart yet because you're still working with stuff. And that process can't be killed; it will simply return...
