RE: Wireless or wired?
Currently have a wired network, though hopefully in the next week or two we'll have a secure wireless one as well.  I can't wait until the day when I'm not limited to my blue ethernet cable.

I have 4 pc's wired, with ethernet run across 3 floors through cold air returns and closets, as well as my wired server.
We have wireless, however, for my mom's laptop, which i beleive is secured by WEP, simply because her wireless card is too old to support WPA-PSK or WPA.
I'm thinking of convinicng my dad to convert to gigabit as well, for speed an added boost since we rely on our network quite heavily.

I connect my computer to my gateway by fast ethernet (wired). I also have secure Wifi LAN, but it doesn't get used. The other computer gets no network.
