and if it doesn't show up with the jumper setting on slave...
try setting it to cable select...
You have to know the type of ram... for example SDRAM, DDR SDRAM or EDO... I guess you have DDR...
your bios is the system that starts up your computer...
you can for example turn on wol (wake on lan) or turn computer on by typing a password... or getting it out of standby by using your mouse...
some types can do very few things some can do a lot...
It is hard to say what your bios can do...
