ehh i'm still gonna just wait till the new Messenger Plus! Live comes out before i do any updating of my WLM. I'm making my sister test it out and her computer

agree, still as buggy as usual, wont even allow me to insert a smiley , ..all i noticed they took out the Locations bit

No Plus! 4.01 won't work with WLM 8.1. Patchou is currently working on Plus! 4.10, but it will take time to get the new version working properly with the new WLM build.
You could stick with WLM 8.1 8.0 for now, because there really aren't much new features in 8.1 compared to 8.0... and it looks like 8.0 is still more stable than 8.1 too.
