I think your poll should have a fourth option. "I neither encourage nor disencourage people to install the sponsor" - 'cause that's the one most people would choose. Polls like this, that don't give people the most obvious choise, just to make them choose something else, are just stupid.
The sponsor doesn't bother me at all, and it IS a choise, and no matter what anyone says, if people just clicks away and don't bother to read what their agreeing to - well then this is probably the NICEST lesson they will ever learn regarding to installing things without knowing what it is. At least this is removable. And then maybe they would pay a little more attention to what they install in the future, as they should.
You're not stupid because you didn't read it the first time, it was just stupid not to read it. HUGE difference.
