I'm underpayed... well not really, but I work at the state/goverment/whatever you call it in English; aka public sector, not the private sector (paychecks in private sector are always higher).
Not to mention that in my kind of job payment is never really high in general. It's something you do because you like it, otherwise nobody is so stupid to do it
€1300 bruto /month (or something I believe, dunno exactly, must lookup... though the same exact job I did a few years back but in private sector was €1700 bruto, so... go figure

Well I can understand higher paychecks because of less taxes etc (hence why so many invest in something there or put their money on the bank there), though, it is still twice the "normal" amount :/
