O.P. WLM servers starting to bug me now...
Meh. Same old story. I got the:

"The following message could notbe delivered to all recipients:

x"

problem.

Restarted, seems to work now. But my concern is- as this is the second time I've got it- I need to know whether this is a problem with the WLM server or my computer. Is there a way of checking?

the service status is one way, also if you try pinging* someone, it should really take over 3 seconds (on average over like 5 - 10 time) on a dial up.

*(type /ping in a conversation - pong [the echo] should be less than 3 on dial up and should really be 1 sec for broadband)

I have tried /pinging before... and service status doens't really make a difference.

One of my contacts who lives near me also has received bouts of this message, yet many more times than me.

i had it when the wlm/msn/microsoft servers were hacked by it seems to be fine now.  try disabling your anti-virus/firewall - may open up more port to allowed messages to go through.

Did you actually read that news report?

it said the South Korean version of the website had a password stealing script on it.

Says nothing about messenger and its service..

It was also dated around June (or February.. :s) thus being fixed even before you began experiencing problems.

If you even read further into it, it says that it was only focused on a South Korean server.

A spokesman, Adam Sohn, said Microsoft was confident its English-language Web sites were not vulnerable to the same type of attack.

Jeez..
