Block Checkers do not work, MP!L does not have a virus and I am awesome. End of Story.

Faint hearts on an endless path letting go of the ones we break.

The block checkers I've seen today ask for your MSN address and password so they can "check" for you.
Why does it matter anyway? if someone doesn't want to talk to, that's their problem :P
Why would MP!L be a virus? 68534 people can't be wrong now, can they ;)

If Messenger plus! live was a virus millions of people that use it, would not use it. Its simple as that.

which are hoaxes to steal your password...

Block checkers or even online checkers do no need passwords, nor emails!!! If you login using your account and password and you can't see if someone has blocked you, then how would any tool logging in with the exact same account and password be able to see it? Such Block checkers are total hoaxes!

Block checkers DO NOT work

Where does that number come from?
multiply that by at least 200 or something ;)

Anyways, no, Messenger Plus! is not a virus.
Messenger Plus! is also not spyware.
Messenger Plus! is even not adware!

However, the included optional sponsor program is adware. That is adware, not spyware! There is a big difference between the two.

And the optional adware sponsor is only installed if you ask for it explicitly. It is never ever installed automatically. There is always a confirmation shown; this was so in any previous version and will be in every future version.

;)
