Yes, but how on earth would Harry's mind make up all the truth about the things Dumbledore told him?

I think he was "dead" but not dead enough to see everyone else and be in the afterlife, since I think that only a part of him died, not all of him. Maybe because Dumbledore knew what was going to happen, he was waiting for him? I don't think Harry made up all the stuff Dumbledore told him.

You know that the easy way of saying that would have been along the lines of the conotation from the Chapter title and the scene in which they were in, ie. Kings Cross = Crossroads
