spongeboy....what version of Windows Messenger are you using? (Click on Help and then about to find out)

Also, just a point worth noting, if I remember correctly Windows Messenger and Windows Live/MSN Messenger use different servers altogether.

OK what operating system are you using? because it could be time for an upgrade of Windows Messenger.

Umm operating system. You mean Windows XP? I have HOME EDITION:S. It never used to do this before.

OK I suggest trying to install Windows Messenger http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?F...774&DisplayLang=en but beware, WGA validation is needed before you download it.
