On sunday or saterday, Russia lost agaisnt ISREAL, MEANING THAT russia wasnt in control of its destiny anymore so the only way for them to make it in, would for croatia to beat england, who was already in 100% and for russia to beat the easy team andora. Being an evil Scotsman, I do find this a semi consolation prize to our defeat to Italy on Saturday.
In saying that. On Saturday there were a hell of a lot of pissed of drunk people in Edinburgh city center. I nearly crashed into a police van that had been abandoned in the middle of a street so the police could deal with a massive fight... some drunk English people had incited it... They got a right doing.
Doesn't this mean that NO British team is in Euro 2008 now, though? |
