Indeed...I'm using it. I love Vista SP1, its so better than Vista RTM in terms of boot times and such...Hibernation seems to be faster as well, All in All, its a good release.

So, with this SP1, can you disable UAC without getting this über-annoying nag balloon telling you that "your system is in great danger" without having to disable the entire security center?
and
Can you use vLite to remove (ao) Windows Defender and still be able to install language packs?
a quick look on their forums taught me they kind of solved this already
if so, I might consider the switch to Vista...

Personally, I won't go near Vista with a ten pole stick until SP1 has been out for at least two months. and even then, gotta waste all those system resources on DRM checking? Geez. |
