Just change the colour and set a suitable lvback.gif instead

It'd be much easier for you to make a basic skin which replaced images on a few main screens(logon, contact list) and then just change the pictures for the place you're going to.(obviously, same image dimension for ease)

You could probably copy most of the code from the skin you have already.
