Why not? I would LOVE to have a nice little house (not shack though) in the middle of a rainforrest and somehow I have all the electricity food water whatever I'll ever need to survive.

I love rainforrests. :) and waterfalls

and how would you go about getting supplies to your house?
You have the intellect comparable to that of a rock. Be proud.

I would not choose anywhere else to live but where I am right now.

Following anileator's tradition, city 4 :), according to:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World's_Most_Livable_Cities

or City 1

according to:

It's a dream, not something realistic. But I'd have some sort of delivery service or something. Or maybe something like Lost. :P Just have a massive package of food drop outside my house every so often.

I'm happy to travel 30 minutes to go to a 'city' to shop or whatever. I don't need to live next door to a supermarket or Starbucks...

Waking up in the morning by the sound of (real :p) birds and other nature sounds can't be beaten by anything.

Welcome to my life! (And it's awsome. =D)

I live in Goiânia, Capital of Goiás, Brazil.

Why I like it:

- There's green everywhere. There's no street without a bunch of trees.
- It's not noisy. (Unless you live in the Central Sector or near the Emergency Hospital.)
- Countrylife in a big city.
- **Quiety**

Cons

- Yeah, the well-know "second worst radioactive waste accident happened in the city, second only to Chernobyl." was here

melbourne or sydney. you spelt sydney wrong.

melbourne is the sporting capital of the world, best shopping, restaurants etc. sydney has the better weather, better beaches and more attractions. but melbourne is a better place to live simply because of the sport and the love for AFL. there is no city in the world that loves a sport as much as melbourne loves AFL. nowhere.
