I still think that xbox live should at least provide its users with 100% free content, and maybe make it worth 90 dollars, becasue honestly, you know youri going to end up buying the content since you paid for the live..

Chrono is right. I think I've already said that.
As for a mouse on a console, what's the point in that? You would need a keyboard as well, and that's just turning your console into an overpowered gaming PC...
Of course, that's pretty much what the PS3 is anyway... What with being able to install Linux and all.
