I think mine did this but they replaced the drive after the first RROD.

The scratches on my discs aren't like the ones in that wikipedia page, there more closer to the center of the discs *-)

and i know its not tilted because its standing right infront of me *-)

Do you notice it happening? Mine would freeze and then struggle to read the disc and make a grinding noise.
