O.P. Possible bug?
Im not sure if this is a bug or not, but ill post it anyway.

Ok so when i type 3 or more back slashes in the im convo (\), they turn into a link. See screenie.

Happens in 8.5 and in 9.0 build 1407 yep (tried with and without Plus! in a VM)...but not anymore in WLMsgr 9 Beta, so that one is fixed :)

It's not really a bug... it's for network locations I think... It just doesn't check to see how many slashes there are and assumes you will only have 2.

True, but when you send the message, the hyperlink is removed and it just comes through as normal text

Well a contact most likely isn't on your own network... What would be the point in them being able to open it? I think it's just so you can open your own network links by clicking in your typing area
