O.P. Huh?  Problems Signing In
Hi,
I installed WLM 2009 today (Feb 12th) on my computer, I have all the system requirements, but when I go to sign in the little blue and green people circle around for about 5 minutes and WLM never signs me in, it just freezes. Help?
Thanks,
Alyssa

Is there any error code stated?
quote:
Repair Windows Live Messenger
1. In the notification area on the taskbar (near the clock), click the Messenger icon, and then click Exit.
2. On the taskbar, click Start, and then click Control Panel.
3. Double-click Add or Remove Programs.
4. Under Currently installed programs, click Windows Live Messenger, and then click Change.
5. Click Repair.

Try that.

No there isn't any error code stated, it just freezes after about 2-5 minutes of the blue and green people spinning around.

I tried repairing it but it is still freezing.

And also, when I got to Tools>Options>Connection it says that I'm not connected to the .NET messenger service. Could that be my problem?

No, that is because you are not connected to the .NET messenger service through WLM.

Go to Help>About Messenger. You will find a number in the box that opens, copy that number here.
