I already tried that, but I guess I can try it again.

Nope. The troubleshooter got through twice but now it can't get past Proxy Server again. The Connection area still says that I'm not connected to the .NET server.

I tell you that after connecting to WLM, then only the Connection area will say that you are connected to the .NET Server.

I restarted my computer and I tried to log in but it didn't freeze this time when it gave me the error message and I got the error code 81000306. (That might help you out) I looked it up on the help website and it says to clear the WLM proxy settings. The only problem that I have now is that when I go to Tools>Options>Connection>Advance Settings it freezes on me before the new window pops up.

4.c. At the command prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER: netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled
Note: This command disables the Window Auto Tuning feature.
4.d.  After you disable the Auto Tuning Networking feature, verify if you are able to sign into Messenger.

5. If you are still not able to sign into Messenger then please re-enable this feature using the information below and then go to the next step.
5.a.  Re-enable the Auto Tuning Networking feature by typing the following command at the command prompt, and then pressing ENTER:

netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=normal

Note: This command enables Window Auto Tuning again so that you can take advantage of the network throughput performance increase it provides.

6. If you are using Windows Vista and you also use a router (eg. Linksys, D-Link, Netgear) on your home network to connect to the internet please visit the router manufacturer’s website to update to the latest firmware for that product.

Similar problem, Have a look.

How can I get to Advanced Settings with out having  to go through Tools>Options>Connections, cause if I go through there it freezes on me when I press Advanced Settings.

How come it freezes? After it freezes, anything happens?(Quite a dumb question to ask anyway)

I have no idea why it freezes. After it freezes I have to do the Task Manager thing to close it because if I wait it stays frozen.

Any help?
