RE: Firefox Question
In firefox, rightclick in any searchbox on a site, for example the searschbar on http://www.msgpluslive.net/scripts/. Select 'Add a keyword for this search'. It will ask you for a name and location to save it in your bookmarks which won't matter much, just pick a good short keyword. Let's say you use 'scripts' as keyword, you can now use the url bar to search scripts, just type 'scripts psm', hit enter, and you are on the results page for 'psm'.

The nice thing is these are stored in your bookmarks, so you can make a folder with a bunch of them and have Xmarks sync it to all your machines.

EDIT: Should really refresh a tab before writing a post. What Vilkku said :p.

RE: Firefox Question
In Firefox I use bookmarks with keywords to do most of my common searches, I don't remember if some of them are configured by default still, but I think they used to be.

Here's what's in my Wikipedia bookmark:

Name: Wikipedia Quick Search

Location: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Search&search=%s

Keyword: wiki

Whatever is in the address bar after wiki will be inserted into the address at %s in the address.

so typing

"wiki Messenger Plus!"

in my location bar does a Wikipedia search and in Wikipedia's case, returns the best result.
