Messenger Plus! announces support for Windows Live™ Messenger 2012

Yuna Software has released a new version of Messenger Plus! 5.5 which supports Microsoft’s Windows Live Messenger (WLM) 2012.

All Plus! features are compliant with Live Messenger 2012 except for skins. We are planning to support skins for WLM 2012 in the next official release targeted for next month.

There is no change in compliance with WLM 2011 and WLM 2009.

Huge version increase, then no version increase? How are people supposed to be able to distinguish between a compatible and incompatible MP! 5.5? Please tell me it's at least a different build number

You're probably aware of the issue already but I'm getting spam through the msgplus.net messaging system. And that sucks. Please fix that.

I know I'm totally off-topic but CBA searching for an existing thread, and I don't want to post in the Forum & Website subforum because I'm blindly assuming the Yuna folks aren't reading it. Sorry about that mods.

now it crash on WXP SP3 and WLM 2009 when you click on "Video Options"

seems something in "Video Options" is not compatible with CPU that doesn't have SSE2, like: AMD Athlon XP and AMD Sempron (Socked A).

please fix.

We support Intel processors.  We do not officially support AMD K7 processors.
