think i know how to fix your problem !!!

on you motherboard there should be a "wake up header" [for ps2, usb(s)], which is set by default (well it is on most motherboards) to disable !! change that to enable. and u should be able to wake your computer up with your mouse

There's a difference between hibernate and sleep mode!

Hibernate = shut the computer down, but save everything in memory to a special file, which will be load when you boot again.
