I'm not sure what you mean by that? You can set both options "Show online contacts only" and "Group offline contacts together". Which displays only the online people in your groups.

No MenthiX, you aren't missing anything, Evostance just couldn't think to look at the Messenger's own options, that is it. However selecting "group offline contacts together" option after selecting "show online contacts only" option will be useless because in "Offline" group, you can see noone then
