if you want some screenshots click here

no I am not trying to advertise, and no I will not realease any way of getting into this version and no I will not tell you where to download this version. I got it just for screenshot purposes and added louhabs.com for the simple reason that I didnt want people stealing my screenshots without linking back!

from the live messenger blog.

''Since it’s no fun testing new features when you don’t have any friends to test them with, our initial butterflies (We still need a new name!) will get to invite a few friends to play with the new version with them.
Over time, people will get more invitations, until one day, there’s no need – everyone can download it and play with it. ''

true it is, but its still better than there previous testing methods,  ICQ/AIM have a Piublic testing for a limmited number then sto[p people from downloading anymore untiill the final release comes out, but this move is in the right direction

To anyone testing the new beta, is it possible to run it alongside 7.5 or does it install itself over an older version? Personally I would like to continue using 7.5 for many of its features and addons available, and still be able to test the beta if I have the chance, since I have an extra screen name that I use for Messenger.

it automatically install over, well if you are a beta tester i think all they want u to do is test that particular one, because the other one might interfered with it. but you are able to have both if you want.
