I doubt that half of those "proofs" are true.
The only proof that the world is going nuts is, people just believe what they read and forward it to others, driving some people like me nuts.

I assume that the writer is Indonesian, and he tagged the post as "bogus."

A friend of mine also confirmed this.
He said he was not aware that there was such law in Indonesia.
If someone gets caught masturbation in public, he will of course be jailed, which is not different from other countries.
One law he found bizarre was, people who kiss on the lips in public places will be jailed and have to pay a fine.

The hoaxer perhaps takes advantage of the fact that Indonesia is the largest Muslim country in the world although it is not an Islamic nation.

If you want to know a weird law: chewing gum is banned in Singapore.
