How is it going guys?
Science today was a horrible exam, I felt Edexcel really lowered the standards. I'm now finished with ICT (woo-hoo)

RE: GCSEs 2007
Bah, I remember those GCSE's last year... Everyone came out of Science last year (AQA) saying that it was horrible, and everyone I know doing them now said the exact same thing, don't worry about them! As for me, I'm doing A-levels, and tbh, I don't see what the big hike is about them, they're the same step up from GCSE as going from KS3 was to GCSE: sure there is more work but atleast you are doing the work for subjects you enjoy? I know I sure am, I personally love A-level Maths, Physics and Design Technology. English is pretty dodgy but bah, that's gonna go next year. Anyway, I wish everyone luck in their exams to come, and lets hope results day is a happy one, mine certainly was!

What board? Edexcel was easy, but it tested you more on facts rather than scientific knowledge. It was as if they ran out of questions. In our latest modules we got asked the same question twice for physics (What is a fundamental particle?). There are two answers to the question, but it seemed odd they asked it twice .

In light of that blog article, I would like to purvey my pity of people doing GCSE physics.
I would die if Physics over here was like that, theres no way I could handle that...

I totally agree with him... Last year was like that too when I was doing my GCSE's, I hated what we were doing, yet I had to take it at A-level because I want to do architecture and it seemed a better subject to take in respect most universities shine on both physics and design subjects when going into architecture. Now, in A-level, I love physics, it's a beautiful subject and we're finally learning real physics, scratching away at the massive iceberg that is the 'why?’ Yet I never would’ve known about this 'side' of physics because of GCSE physics, and given the choice back then, when i was doing my GCSE's, I would've dropped physics in a heartbeat.
