o yea we are over due 65,00 years for the yellow stone volcanoe to blow and many "future tellers" sepperated by hundreds of years all predicted the world would end in 2012

This is stupid...well they say and say each day these things.....in 2008 they say it will end in 2012 in 2010 it will say in dunno what year it's like this always cuz everything is changing nothing just stays like this not even weather forecast is right cuz they say it then but when it should be it could just sudenly chance...it hapends at the moment or in a other time you will see what i mean and i think you all did

After reading 6 pages of post's, which are interesting opinions and views I admit, I come to the point where I thought I had to make a stand.
I am just going to point 1 or 2 thing's out to you, you may not agree .. but as I take this kind of stuff with great interest, it would be good for you to know my opinion.
I don't think there is such thing as Global Warming, changes in global temperatures are natural. There is no proof that temperature is affected by anything that man has done.
In fact, recent severe weather has been directly attributed to a natural phenomenon that occurs every so often called El Nino. It causes ocean temperatures to rise as tropical trade winds actually reverse for a time.
In 2005 data from NASA's Mars Global Surveyor and Odyssey missions revealed that the carbon dioxide "ice caps" near Mars's south pole had been diminishing for three summers in a row.
Just .. don't trust the media.

El Niņo comes and goes. Ocean temperatures have constantly been on the rise.
