the resume function would of been handy for me early as i was sendin a big file wiv messenger and it crashed like 500kb from the end! all in all an ace plugin, ill get it thru me contact list in a tic!!!

Just a little question, wil the transfer continue if msn is turned off?

well, seems it uses there ip and not there email addy (i should think so) then it shud work. but im not sure cos it relies on plus, but plus stays open if u close messenger so just ask the owner

Yes, when the receiver accepts the transfer, it becomes totally independent from Messenger.

My download just stopped at 88%, it doesn't say it was cancelled or something it just doesn't go any further.



How do I resume this tranfer if I Cancel it?

EDIT2: Never mind, his connection dropped , that was the reason... Anywaay... Can you also resume if the connection fails?

Furthermore, can you make it that it is detected and that you get notified with an error/status-message (but not an extra popup box, but somewhere in the transfer window itself... sort of like an error/status bar or something; just like normal download managers )

Actually it should do that already

When the transfer is complete, canceled or the connection is lost, the plugin call for attention (flashes in taskbar) to notify that. I think the connection timeout is 60 seconds, thus in some cases you'll have to wait until the connection timeouts to be notified... Maybe that was the problem?

what´s about a new setting in the options for clients, to auto accept files into
a predefined folder ?
Like a checkbox which enable or disable this function ...
This way you can receive files while you are away....

I only noticed after an hour or something

hello
i recently installed file transfer plus as per the instructions
however when i type /xsendfile
it brings up the box to choose the file but when i choose open
it then goes to
"Sorry, this command is either not recognised or an error occured during its processing. If this message was not supposed to be a command, please type a double '//' at its beginning"
however it opened the file selection window so its recognised
my friend can run it fine but since my end doesnt work
we cant test the features
