Look at |/|artij||'s reply to Abubu. =|. |\/|artij|\| used the /me thing but instead of

* |\/|artij|\| bla bla bla

MyBB puts

* |/|artij|| bla bla bla

ie: without the backslashes ( \ ). I think it's a PHP bug. I think that the sames happens with /slap

the [post] tag seems to have the same bug (3rd word of this post). maybe the [thread]one too.

It's been said before, but I'll say it again...that's what happens when you allow dodgy characters in users' names...

I backslash is hardly a dodgy character.

It is a dodgy character and thats why in RC3 it has been disallowed for nickname registrations.

This board only uses RC2  WDZ needs to adapt the board to include all his special features

surely banning the character is just the lazy way out... php can easily handle names with slashes in the right way... in this case it looks like an addslashes is needed somewhere along the line; not too demanding is it?
