O.P. Recent Files
Hey.

I just had an idea, after trying ot send a file to one of my friends, whom went offline once it sent, and then when he came back on, went off again. I hate having to click Send Files.. and then scrolling and searcing through the list again to find the file again. So what i was thinking is this. A 'Recently Sent Files' option next to nudges or just a plugin that will show you the last five/ten sent files, and you can click them to send again.. Therefore stopping the tedious job of scrolling through your folders for the same file again.

Made a little mock up picture below.

What you think? :)

That's actually a really nice idea, I'd love that to be incorporated, it's actually really nice.

RE: Recent Files
Why don't you incorporate "Recently Received Files" aswell...

and have "send this file to this person"

Glad you find it useful... If i knew how to code, or anything i would stick this in myself... but unfortuantly i dont. :(

Ive managed to incorporate this into msn... only the button not the menu as of yet. I am not a coder, and i never have coded in my life. But ive managed to get the button 'Recent Files' with the image to appear. Im trying to figure out how to do the menu?

EDIT: Ive just thought about this in the shower. Its going to be more complex than what i first realised. The recieved files that are sent must be recorded somewhere, with the file name, and time sent, and location. Then the addon can extract that data fr4om a file in which it is stored... im still puzzled. If any coder out there wants to add me to msn so we can talk about this, then please do.

RE: Recent Files
I think that would be one of my most used plugins. If it was made of course. I would really like it if someone could make this!

yep, although these files can easly be found if you sort your filelist on "last changed" (or something like that; don't have english OS)

RE: Recent Files
If your using reshacking to make the button, the menu (i think) won't be possible. But it may be as a plus plugin where it hooks into MSN Messenger's memory and makes the button 'temporarly'.

There would be some limitations, but im sure it would be very possible.
