hi, ive just got this virus where it opens up all my contacts who are online and then sends them a link .....  when you click on the link it comes up as a download but doesnt complete so not sure how i actually got the virus. any help?? thanks hecks

those didnt work! and now its got worse! i cant see what im writing on msn! other people can see but i cant

Okay we need more information on what happens, do get an error message? Do you have anything installed such as Smiley Central or any other plugins?

Also, what is the exact text that is sent to your contacts, or is it just the link.

for example, some say:

hi
look at this picture of you
<link>

it isnt the virus which sends them a picture of anything like that! its just a link...

so its just a link on its own then? 

the link hasnt shown up today though and everything looks to be ok .... my writing has come back! ... but dont want to speak to soon!

and yea just a link on its own!

There isn't a virus which sends a picture, it just tries to make the contact think it is a picture so that they will click on it, but really it is a link to download a virus.

Could you please answer the questions posted above as we need more detail to help you.
