O.P. dual monitors
I got 2 free monitors today. Both being 17 inch but one being newer. I took the newer one and attached it to my computer's mother board monitor slot and turned the computer on. However I only get image from my normal video card [monitor I had before]. How can I unable both video cards and monitors?
any help appreciated.

I turned off pc, pluged monitor that I got into the mother board video slot and then turned it on with no luck

is what I have. and my mother board is one for intel pentium 3
[edit: I was able to update my drivers, and it detects the other screen. I am trying to install the proper periphirics for the newly installed screen and then see what happens. I will probably try it with the other free monitor I got.
edit 2: doesnt work with either screens at all..it doesn't detect the drivers.

has it actually uninstalled the hardware device from if you go to Control panel > Systems icon > Hardware tab > Device manager > an look in there for the offending device
