My dad bought a new computer and I fixed it.  Thanks anyways...

i really dont see how buying a new computer would fix it. do you mean he bought a new router? that would make more sence.

No, he bought a new computer because the old one was broke, and then we had to access the routers firmware through the new computer because the other one was broken.  So it fixed the router
