dual boot the xbox?  i wouldnt be able to since there is only one hdd IDE cable in it.  i have extra HDD's but i want to use my xbox as a computer since i never play games on it.

I meant doing a dual boot on the computer. But if you want to use it as a computer, just take out the hard drive and put it in your computer.

Or of course, you could sell it on eBay, you'll get like £90 for it if you sell it with some games You could buy a graphics card or some RAM for that .

i have been reading the guides and it isnt that easy, but that may work dont remember, only trouble is getting the xbox open, i have to get like an xacto knife or somthing sharp like that for its screws.

The screws are easy to get out, I opened mine up last night. It's been really well put together too (better than the PS2) so everything is easy to get out, just like a PC.

the ps2 is a nightmare to open up, although the case is easy enough, putting it back together is annoying

what tools did you use to open it?  I cant use a screw driver so what did you use?
