cooldude, one suggestion:
in GC_main.js, after:

code:
if(mailCount == 1) var strMessage = strGCUsername + "@gmail.com:\n" + mailCount + " new email";

I added:

code:
else if(mailCount == 0) var strMessage = strGCUsername + "@gmail.com:\nNo new emails";

I think "No new emails" is better than "0 new emails", isnt it??

PS: it's my very first jscript edition! and I did it right!!!!

do you mind telling me how sence yahoo doesnt allow free pop access?

of course it does...I use

sign in, go to Options...in the right side there is something like "POP access and something" (I dont use it in english, but it's something similar to that)
you just need to enable POP3

strange...try using: pop.mail.yahoo.com[.something else]

What about adding a counter just like the plus pop3 have? (as If you configure it as other pop3 account) in the Plus Icon in the Contact List? Is it possible? Sometimes you want to know how many mails there were the last time the script checked and you don´t want the script to checked again just for that...
