At any rate, a friend of mine is experiencing an installation problem... He's running Windows XP SP3, latest WLM2009 build (too lazy to look up the number), downloaded the latest MsgPlusLive build, installed it successfully, but it doesn't load WLM with Plus.
He believes his wife had used SweetIM before, but it has been uninstalled and the folder deleted, he has uninstalled Messenger, deleted the folder, and reinstalled it, then did the same thing with Plus, and nothing seems to work.
Any insight would be helpful. |

Does he have any other add-ons that might conflict with Plus! like MessengerDiscovery, Kiwee, or ThreatFire "Antivirus"? If not, please provide us with a screenshot of all his programs in Add/Remove Programs as there might be something conflicting with Plus! and installed without even his knowledge.

Hi everytime i download msg plus my windows live messenger only works for about 10 maybe 15 mins with the plus application and then it cuts out with a dialogue box that says windows live messenger has encountered and error and needs to close and this happes only when i have downloaded the plus application. i have tried numerous time to uninstall and then reinstall the msg plus application but the same thing keeps happening....is there anyway that i could use the old version of msn messenger plus because the main feature i wish to have on the my windows messenger is boss control where i can hide my msn in my toolbar.

Im having a problem im trying to download msn 8.0 and 8.1 so n so but it kepps nt working they say i already hv a Messenger Plus but whn i checked n searched for it i did nt find it wat shall i do!!

You mean it tells you, you have a newer version of Windows Live Messenger already installed.

NOO there is nothing there
You can use ZapMessenger to completely erase Windows Live Messenger and all its traces. |
