O.P. Best/safest program to convert mp3 to wav
I just need to embed a mp3 file in a powerpoint presentation, but it needs to be .wav, which i know is worse quality... whats the safest and trusted program i could use to convert it?

.wav is not worse quality. If anything .mp3 is. wav is an uncompressed sound file. mp3 is the opposite so it will inherit some quality loss.

JPEG owns @ filesize but fair quality, Bitmap sucks @ filesize but good quality

Anyway...
I use Cdex..
It converts Mp3 -> Wav & Wav -> Mp3 and have more functions...

Most people won't even notice the quality difference. I know when I play an mp3 I downloaded years ago (napster years) it sounds terrible compared to the ones I get today. Why? Apart from new versions of the encoder being used, they used 128 bitrate mostly. While today it is mostly 192 and up.
Try it yourself. I'm sure you'll notice the quality difference.

Oh know.... i used that program, and now, when i make videos, and put them on my computer from usb mode, you can only hear the audio, and there is no video.... but you can watch it on the camara. what happened?
