Hello guys.
I'm using the latest version Windows Live Messenger 15.4.3555.308, and Messenger Plus latest version 5.11.0.760.
But it happens that after using the A-Patch to remove the advertising WLM MsgPlus checked that disappeared from the main window options.

I have the same problem...

Except I can't see msg plus ANYWHERE on my messenger, can't enter options or anything...  happened after I updated to newest messenger : 15.4.3555.308

This same problem happened only after installing the new version of messenger.

They will not release any version to fix this problem?

A-Patch changes the resources that WLM uses to build it's interface to remove the adverts. There is nothing Messenger Plus! can do to prevent it being removed from the window like this, the same as WLM can not prevent its adverts from being removed.

Adverts can be removed anyway via skins (Skins just replace these internal resources with custom files). Take a look in the Skin Database. I'm not sure which ones do it, but it will not appear as an option in the Skin Options window. There are usually a couple of files in the skin package somewhere. Can't really say any more than that.

You say the problem is the A-Patch, and team-Patch says the problem is yours. All I know is that this did not happen before and that there were incompatibilities with Messenger Plus and A-Patch and now begin to exist.

Try putting Messenger Plus! in to safe mode by following the steps in this video:

It is possible something A-Patch is doing is preventing Messenger Plus! from "hooking" the Windows Live Messenger process correctly.

The problem that happens is that after making changes to the A-Patch options Messenger Plus! disappear from the main window. The rest of the Messenger Plus! works correctly, the options appear in conversation windows without any problems. My only problem is that I showed you the pictures.

If it does just come down to UI elements such as the buttons on the Contact List, then it is highly likely that it can't find the right place to put them (i.e. the resources have been changed). This really does still point to A-Patch. Got assignments due tonight so I'll take a look a bit later on if I get chance
